On Tuesday 18 March we are organising a side event to the WCF Partnership Meeting, the WINCC event - celebrating Women in Cocoa & Chocolate!

Theme:  "Evidence based improvements in cocoa sector under women leadership”

We will focus on one of the 3 main ambitions of WINCC, linked to the theme of resilience of the PM: 'Evidence based advocacy and awareness demonstrating the improvements in the cocoa sector and the increased efficiency of organisations and companies when women are given a more prominent role in governance and decision-making’. Gender equity and women leadership are pivotal in creating a sustainable cocoa and chocolate industry. This session will focus on the significant role of women and the empowerment of women leaders within the sector. We will delve into the available evidence, share inspiring success stories, and discuss effective strategies to cultivate a more inclusive and diverse workforce, including the role WINCC can play to facilitate this.
